Tabaka manufactured furniture for countries such as Germany, Turkey, and the Netherlands. He continuously developed his workshop, introducing increasingly modern wood processing methods, purchasing new machinery, and reorganizing the workflow. What started as a small workshop eventually transformed into a fully-fledged factory! It became a model and foundation for the establishment of the Swarzędz Furniture Factories in the following years. But that is a separate story, which we will tell elsewhere.
Tabaka’s factory experienced its peak in the late 1930s. At that time, it employed 270 carpenters of various specialties. Among other things, it already had its own steam power plant, which transmitted power to the woodworking machines through shafts and drive belts.
