At the time, the factory in Swarzędz employed well over 1,000 craftsmen. It produced wooden goods using modern technologies and rich designs. The entire complex provided jobs for nearly 3,500 people! It’s no surprise that in the 1980s, the company was the largest furniture manufacturer and exporter in Poland.
Unfortunately, after the political transformation, the famous factory began a slow decline. Although it was one of the first companies in the Third Republic of Poland to be listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, the former prestige could not be regained. In 2010, the company declared bankruptcy.
